in summary:

Joe and I met Callie 6 years ago, and wished in another universe she and Paul could meet.
Fast forward 6 years…they meet at a Rice football game, start talking and the spark was ignited.
We all danced around it at the boy’s birthday parties and occasional hang outs, but one day we heard from a little “birdie” (you know who you are) that Callie was “diggin” on Paul.
Joe and I both knew that Paul was “diggin” on Callie too…I mean, come on…she ROCKS..
So, we told Paul he MIGHT want to give Callie a call.
Paul said he would take it slow.
YA RIGHT
The next day Paul called Callie,
and they have gone on a date pretty much every day since.
BOOM

…4 months later…we ALL are begging these two to get engaged…they’re PERFECT for eachother…no need to waste any more time…
Callie went up to NYC to work a little.
Paul would fly and visit.
They still had not said “I Love you”
Callie made Paul a pillow with the words: ” I like you” because she was not about to say the L.O.V.E word first.
It was funny
Paul FINALLY said it in NYC and told Callie to hurry back to Houston so that this relationship could really fly.
Callie accepted and moved back within a couple weeks.

Paul bought a ring
He called me to work out a fun surprise while we were in Napa for work
And on the last day for “work” Claire and I made Callie get up at 4am, put on make-up and get ready for a “photoshoot” for our website with the Napa sunrise.
We all got into the car where the “I like you” pillow laid with a note from Paul to meet him at the Napa General Store for a day of fun.

SHOCK!  LAUGHTER.  EXCITEMENT as we pulled up in the dark to see Paul standing waiting on his Callie.
In the bask of the headlights Callie ran up to Paul and away they went to a whole day of hiking, eating overlooking vineyards and an awesome question from Paul, to which Callie gave the HUGE yes!

Now they are planning a wedding…and it has been a ton ‘o fun around here.  Plus, Claire and I got to take some “engagement documentation” pictures in a vineyard in Napa.
