It was literally a perfect day.  The weather was awesome.  The clouds and sun performed beautifully.  And Brooke and Derek were glowing.  The hot pink and lime green could not have been more striking against the beautiful Barr Mansion in Austin.  These two are some of the most fun people I have gotten to know.  They love a good time…and that is also evident through their friends and family.  Everyone was soooo happy for these two…many tears were wiped throughout the day from overflowing joy.  It was awesome!  No matter how many times I have gotten to see a bride walk down the aisle to her groom..it is still so special.  This wedding might have been one of my favorites though.  The long walk from the house to where everyone was waiting created so much anticipation.  Derek could not help but tear up at how amazing Brooke looked and the excitement for her becoming his wife.  The smiles, the glances, the songs…everything was so symbolic of how awesome these two are for eachother and the breath of life God has breathed into their new marriage.  It was an amazing day that Joe and I were so blessed to get to be a part of!

Some of Brooke’s memories from the night:

Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?
A. Finally getting to see each other as I walked down the aisle and Derek stood at the front patiently waiting 🙂

Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. Post ceremony, walking back down the aisle hand-in-hand, husband & wife.
