Hey, I’m Kelly!

You may have already gotten a hint of this… but I LOVE what I do! Documenting wedding days is such an honor!!

Since you spend a LOT of time with your photographer on your big day, I want to make sure you really feel like you know me! So here are some basics…

How I Got Started

After I stepped away from a sales career in lighting design in 2008 to have my first of three baby boys, my husband asked me to pray about my passion.

Shortly thereafter I picked up a camera and started to document our days as a new family. My passion for turning everyday moments and emotions into tangible memories grew so quickly that I never returned to the corporate world.

I always knew that I wanted to be a part of documenting weddings and being able to love on couples through their entire wedding process.

Now more than 10 years and 250 weddings later, I’ve had the privilege of joining clients in different locations around the world to record their memories. I am honored to have earned awards for my work and been featured in publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Vogue, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Sparrow, and The Knot, among others.

Fun Facts: My first camera was a Canon Rebel, and I’m the only wedding photographer in Houston who shoots in both film and digital. It provides an extra special touch for your most precious memories!

Life Away from the Camera

When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me….

  • Watching my boys, Jake, Brock & Holt, play all the sports!
  • Reading in the backyard with our German Shepherd & Golden Retriever
  • Sipping bubbly while watching The Bachelor…specifically Etnico Sparkling Wine…so delish!!
  • Cooking something delicious with my hubby Joe, in preparation to host friends for supper club — usually with my favorite amazing olive oil straight from Lebanon (my husband’s family is Lebanese…you can imagine how much fun our holidays are!!)

Other Obsessions

I totally play favorites, and some other things I can’t live without are trips to Aspen, great Mexican food and margaritas, all things Paris and European travel, and bike rides with my boys to get sno-cones!

I also recovered from a ski-related knee injury this year (worst Spring Break ever!), and am enjoying running again thanks to all the extra time at home and no access to my favorite yoga studio due to COVID-19!
