the recipe this week!

wow…I cannot believe I have started posting recipes…me…the woman who only cooked microwave popcorn all through college, because I was wayyyyy too lazy.  Sorry for the photography interruption…honestly I am just over-whelmed with the amount of blogging, that you can officially call this procrastination!  But call it what you will…this is a good one!

So my AMAZING friend and trainer, Missy, actually told me that she calls in to order pizzas with a special request and the people on the phone think she is crazy…but after she told me about her request I HAD to try it…it sounded WAY too yummy…and as it turns out we now have a family weekly favorite.

It is a homemade pizza with feta.

YUUMMM, right?!?!

It’s as plain and simple as this:
a whole wheat crust at the grocery store (they are usually in the bakery area, and if not then ask them if they make them)
baste it with olive oil
spread over one bottle of organic Ragu
thinly slice 1 1/2 cooked chicken breasts and spread
spread out to your liking spinach leaves
cover with feta
Cook in the oven for the amount of time described on the crust packaging
and Voilla

LET ME JUST TELL YOU…AMAZING!  And so much healthier.
So freakin’ simple…you HAVE to try it!  And you can vary it however you want…what do you want on your pizza?
