What an awesome day in Dallas for these two amazing families.  Joe and I were welcomed with open arms into the homes and festivities of Cristi and Kevin’s sweet day.  I cannot say enough good about how amazing all the people surrounding these two are…which, in turn, has made them the two amazing people that they now are.  You sure do become who you are around…and in this case that could not be any more of a good thing.  Joe and I LOVE this family!!!
The whole day was relaxed.  Cristi got ready at one of their oldest friends homes.  There were some of the sweetest details displayed to show off Cristi’s then and now.  The light coming through the skylight in the house was the perfect representation of the hopes and dreams surrounding this amazing couple…the spirits were enlightening…
Everything went so smoothly.  The Perkins Chapel is a beautiful place for perfect lighting for an indoor ceremony…again…the light was enlightening.
The theme of the day was all about friends and family.  We even had everyone turn around in the chapel for one big group shot because Cristi’s dad wanted to remember all who could be there.
Another awesome touch to inclue everyone was the dance instructors who came to teach everyone swing dancing while guests were waiting for the bridal party to arrive.  It was a perfect prelude to Cristi and Kevin’s first dance, swing dance.

Two bookworrms who love math met at MIT and got married this summer could not have been a more perfect match.  I love the creativity of God through relationships.  The perfect weaving together of lives.
We seriously CANNOT WAIT to see these two travel down their marriage and family road.  They touch everyone they meet.  They leave impressions.
They are enlightening.

Some of Cristi & Kevin’s memories from the day and dreams of the future:

Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?

A. Having all our friends and family there to celebrate with us, especially those from far away that we don’t see very often.

Q. What was one quirky of crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?
A. CRISTI: I stepped on my dress and pulled out a pickup during the photoshoot! Make sure and don’t get your dress hemmed right to the floor if you plan on gallivanting around on squishy surfaces like grass and carpet!:)

Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. CRISTI: Walking down the aisle and seeing all my friends and family there, then seeing Kevin waiting for me.
KEVIN: Seeing Cristi coming through the door at the back of the church.

Q. Where will you be as a couple in five years? Hopes, dreams, kids, etc.?

Q. What do you look forward to most about being married?
A.  CRISTI: Spending the rest of my life with him!
KEVIN: Coming home and Cristi is there, or will be soon.
