Hooray for an AMAZING year!!  It has been awesome to see the impact your marriage has already started to make!

A. We have been blessed beyond belief over the past year. I think if we had to pick it would be Ellen graduating in December and immediately find a job teaching in January.

A. Although Chase constantly keeps Ellen laughing, she has realized that he can’t go very far in the car without making up his own music! As for Chase, he has come to find out that Ellen can’t contain her laughter when someone falls down…on TV or in person!

A. We took a ten day tour of Israel over spring break with several other family and church members. It was absolutely incredible and SO surreal to see the places that Jesus once walked. It’s a trip that definitely changes the way you read the bible. If you have the opportunity to see it, it is so worthwhile!

Q. What is the biggest piece of advice you can offer newly weds?

A. Communication. It often means different things for the husband and wife but it is so important to be clear, intentional, and loving every time you speak to one another.
