LOVE these two…What an amazing first year of you both as well as your sweet baby Emma!!  I cannot wait to watch your family grow even more!

Q. What’s the best thing that has happened to you as a couple since you’ve been married?

A. We had our beautiful baby girl Emma Marie! She is now 7 months old which we CAN NOT believe!

A. Whitney: Josh takes a REALLY long time in the shower. He just stands there! TMI?
Josh: Whitney takes a perfectly good chip, nice and big, out of the chip basket, and breaks it into little shards before she eats it! Why would you ruin a perfectly good chip! Also, for some reason she has this odd belief that Mizzou is better than A&M. I think Johnny Football would have something to say about that!

A. We went to Cozumel on a cruise to celebrate our 1 year a little early! It was so much fun to have someone else cook and make the bed. Of course we totally stuffed our faces and Josh found out that he isn’t very good at Blackjack. I finished 2 books which I haven’t done in forever. Of course we left from New Orleans so everyone on board was a Saints and LSU fan so that made Saturday night and Sunday pretty rowdy but hilarious. Fortunately, we got to celebrate together with all of them when the Aggies beat Bama!

Q. What is the biggest piece of advice you can offer newly weds?

A. Have fun and enjoy the little things. When you plan your wedding you have this huge occasion in mind that you forget about the small stuff. The same thing happens when you are planning for a new baby! Enjoy having someone to watch TV with or having that second set of hands helping you with groceries. Take time to smile at the fact that you have to make two piles for mail and marvel at that fact that you have someone else standing next to you as you brush your teeth. The wedding was great but the life that we have created since the wedding has been phenomenal.
