Q. What’s the best thing that has happened to you as a couple since you’ve been married?

A. We’ve been blessed with so many great things happening over the past year that it’s hard to choose one! We both landed great jobs, we got a new SUV that will one day be a perfect swagger wagon, we got a new kitten and we’ve gotten to enjoy 365 days of being husband and wife!

A. How much we love to work and always have projects going on. If we’re not working, we are painting our house, blogging, doing freelance work or doing DIY projects. We love being productive and seeing all the great things we can produce together!

A. We traveled to Cuba together in December to visit Cele’s family, who he hadn’t seen in 15 years. We got to spend 10 amazing days getting to know them and their way of life, and engraining ourselves into their culture. It was a truly life-changing trip for me, and an amazing experience for him to get to go back.

Q. What is the biggest piece of advice you can offer newly weds?

A. Be patient with each other, and hear each other out. This is a long road you are on together, so make it an amazing journey and make every moment count!
