Q. What’s the best thing that has happened to you as a couple since you’ve been married?

A. It’s hard to think of THE best thing because we have alot to be thankful for this last year. We welcomed a precious new nephew to our family, taken a couple of exciting trips with our sweet friends, and the fact that we wake up every morning loving each other through our good and bad days is pretty awesome!

A. Brent prefers washing dishes with a scrubber with a handle because he said a sponge makes his fingers feel weird….sorry babe!!!

A. Las Vegas in December. We got to mark going to the National Finals Rodeo off Brent’s bucket list!

Q. What is the biggest piece of advice you can offer newly weds?

A. Communicate!! Your significant other can not read your mind. It’s the two of you in your marriage and the only way you will be able to share how you feel about a situation is if you communicate. And giving each compliments even if you feel they may be undeserving. Chances are they just need to hear some love from you. Love God and share His word with each other!
