HELLO!  Men in uniform.  Women in beautiful gray and gold.  Time spent among awesome family and friends.  What more could I ask for in spending my Saturday?  Oh ya, an AMAZING couple to watch tie the knot.  Check.

Love me some Kim & Mike.  These two are those people who you don’t get to spend much time with, but who still make you feel oh so happy, comfortable and at ease every time you get to hang with them.  It’s like we have been friends for forever…I am so thankful to have them be a party of my life.  And so thankful Wendi and I got to be there on this oh so special day!

Some of Kim & Mike’s memories from the day:
Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?

   A. My favorite part of the wedding ceremony was our dads readings which Mike and I picked specifically for each of our dads to read. Very special.

  Q. What was one quirky or crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?

  A. My parents doing the cupid shuffle!! Lol. Well, we were blessed enough to not be aware of anything quirky or crazy happenings.

  Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?

    A.  I’d say being walked down the aisle by the best man I know, leading me to the man that God created specifically for me…surrounded by people who mean the most to me and Mike. Definitely a moment I will cherish forever.

Q. Did you do anything yourself?

A. Well, Mike and I planned our wedding, but as far as things we did…we made our save the dates (with ideas from ohsobeautifulpaper.com) and our invitations (with printing help from delphinepress.com who printed our invitation & rsvp card)

  Q. What do you look forward to most about being married?

  A. Doing all the things we’ve talked about doing for the last 4-1/2 years since he left for the Marine Corps…
less airports, delayed planes, and lost luggage

 Q. Where do you hope you will you be as a couple in five years?

 A. We hope Mike will have his MBA from Rice University, and will have started a career he adores. Hopefully, this dream job pays well and will afford me some time to figure out ‘I want to do when I grow up’ so I can pursue something fun and that I enjoy.
Oh…and, throw a couple of kiddos in there somewhere along the way.
