The morning was gloomy. There was a chance for rain in the forecast.
But
Then the sun came out as Sara and Ryan exchanged their vows and God’s beautiful light illuminated their love and the future family they were creating.
Reminding all there of the magic in holy matrimony.
Some of Ryan & Sara’s memories from the day:
Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?
A. The ACTUAL wedding… my favorite part was just smiling at and catching eyes with Ryan the whole time. I was so relaxed and so READY to marry him. It was a joyful experience.
Our wedding officient was also awesome. He made it very serious but also brought some light heartedness to the event which is very “ryan and sara”
Q. What was one quirky or crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?
A. One thing that was a little crazy was that we have such “fun” family and guests that they ran out of Crown and Titos! How is that for crazy!
I didn’t think anything was really that quirky. Everything ran pretty on par which was nice that my nerves didn’t get tested.
Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. Our ceremony. Even though there were a lot of people at our wedding, I just was so in tune with and fixated on Ryan that I felt like it was only him and I there at that time.
I loved that my best friend from 6th grade was our wedding officiant because he brought such a wonderful and comfortable vibe to the ceremony which was so very pleasant!
Twenty minutes before the ceremony I brought my best friends into the bride room to have a prayer with me. I have so many special people that I turn to when I am in need and I just wanted time to pray with them about my marriage. I prayed that when I turn to them and ask for advice that they would get their words and wisdom from God and point me in the right direction. It wa a special moment to have them all to myself and be with God right before I walked down the aisle
Q. What do you look forward to most about being married?
A. I just look forward to sharing “life” with my best friend! It is such a good feeling to wake up every day next to Ryan. Whatever we get thrown our way, we get to figure it out together.
Q. Where do you hope you will you be as a couple in five years?
A. In five years, Ryan and I hope to have a dog and one maybe two little rugrats running!
As a couple we hope to be a stronger couple in regards to our faith and relationship with God and each other, love each other deeper with every passing year and to be blessings to not only each other but our family and friends.
