Some of Taylor & Jonathan’s memories from the day:
Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?
A. Other than getting married, I loved spending time together before the ceremony. It both calmed and excited me for the main event.
Q. What was one quirky or crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?
A. I forgot the toss garter! The one I was wearing was made from my grandmother’s wedding veil lace so the wedding coordinator rushed out to her car and grabbed her back up. A small, bit funny mishap.
Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. Spending one of the most important nights of our lives together. At one point, we stepped back from the Yacht Club a bit and walked the perimeter to take it all in. The wedding night can be busy going from one thing to the next but having a quiet moment together to reflect and see all of our friends and family celebrating with us was so special. And the “snapshot” memory of that moment we will have forever.
Q. Did you do anything yourself?
A. I’m not very crafty. But I guess something Jonathan and I were pretty set on was having Rachel Poysky be the one to marry us. She is from our church in Houston and she baptized our daughter in November 2013.
Q. Where will you be as a couple in five years? Hopes, dreams, kids, etc.?
A. We hope to be healthy, happy and still near our family. We would love to be home owners. We hope to have grown – in number, in faith and in serving each other.
Q. What do you look forward to most about being married?
A. Loving each other more each day. Growing in our faith together. Cultivating those same loves in our children.
