Surrounded by 40 of their closest family and friends, Alex and Matias had a colorful wedding in Aspen at Lynn Britt Cabin. In the midst of 2020 their plans for a big wedding in their home state of Texas pivoted to a small destination wedding in Aspen Snowmass. In less than 2 months, they planned a summer wedding that was even better than they imagined!
Wedding in Aspen at Lynn Britt Cabin
For their original wedding in Texas, Alex had visions of neutral colors. When their wedding location changed, she decided to go with colors that complimented the natural bright hues of summer in the mountains. Her bridesmaids chose their own dresses in jewel tones and the groomsmen each chose a different tie color. They had a tented reception decorated with bold pops of orange, purple, teal and pink filling the space from the tables and flowers to the bar.
Aspen Wedding Venue Lynn Britt Cabin
Lynn Britt Cabin is an Aspen wedding venue at Aspen Snowmass Ski Resort. Located at the top of the Burlingame ski lift, the Lynn Britt Cabin offers epic mountain views. The cabin is next to a grove of Aspen trees and a gorgeous open meadow filled with wildflowers in the summer. Lynn Britt Cabin has everything you could want in a Colorado mountain wedding venue!
Alex and Matias did a first look at Lynn Britt Cabin which allowed us plenty of time to take portraits, wedding party, and family photos before the ceremony. They had a sunny outdoor ceremony that they livestreamed for friends and family who couldn’t make it. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside before heading into the color filled tent for a night of celebrating and dancing! Wedding weekends in the mountains with incredible couples, like Alex and Matias, always make my heart full! Their wedding was also featured on The Knot here.
