If you’ve been here for a while, you may have noticed that the Hornberger men & I love to travel :). We usually choose to go skiing during Spring Break, and in the past have road-tripped it from Houston to Colorado.
But this year we met Niki with TH Travel Designs, and she introduced us to Park City, Utah.
She took my “we want to go on a ski trip…surprise us” vision, and put together an incredible week in a place we’d never been before. And our boys were so thankful that we flew this year instead of driving – haha!
Read on for all of the awesome details she planned for us!

Ski Trip to Park City
Our whole family loves to ski, but I had to sit it out this time since wedding season is coming up. Joe and the boys went together and loved the slopes! I got to exercise, relax, explore the town and work from our amazing condo!
Park City has some fabulous restaurants to choose from! In the evenings we went out a few times as a family. Plus, Joe & I even made time for a date night one of the nights!
It was such a beautiful area and town, and so fun to see a new part of the country we hadn’t been to before and a gorgeous new part of the Rockies! They had gotten a TON of snow, which of course made for even better skiing. No man-made stuff here!
Niki was so great to work with, and truly covered all of the bases for us so that all we had to do was show up!
Park City: Where to Eat & Where To Stay
Some of our favorite places & “musts” ended up being:
Café Terigo where Joe and I went on our date is super cute and has yummy food!
The Bridge Cafe and Grill has yummy food, and we loved getting to watch the people get on and off the lift.
Java Cow is a cool, quirky ice cream and gift shop.
The Montage in Deer Valley is a great place where we met some friends, went bowling, and had a fun meal.
Overall, it was an awesome trip and we would highly recommend going to Park City if you haven’t before! No wonder they hosted the Olympics here!! We would love to go back, or we may just tell Niki to surprise us again and go somewhere entirely new 🙂
