NYC Engagement Session in Brooklyn & Central Park

Ali and Jay’s New York City engagement session in Brooklyn and Central Park was so fun! I met up with Ali and Jay on a fabulously rainy day in NYC, but that was nothing an umbrella couldn’t help with! These two live in NYC which is where they met.

NYC Engagement Session

They were up for walking all around Brooklyn for an afternoon to create some epic photos in the city they love and live in! Ali and Jay’s joy is contagious, even in rainy weather. Both their smiles are radiant and you can’t help but feel how much they love each other just by watching them together. Jay proposed to Ali while in Costa Rica last Christmas and they are so excited to get married!

Engagement Photos in Brooklyn & Central Park

We started off their engagement session in Brooklyn and stopped at locations with the iconic Brooklyn Bridge in the background. From there we made our way to Central Park.

Ali and Jay wanted to include their dog in some of their engagement photos, so we did those at Central Park. Their little pup had so much energy and was so excited the entire time! We continued to make our way through the park and would stop whenever it felt right or the light was too good to pass by.

Engagement Photos in Your Favorite Places

Bringing me to your city to take your engagement photos is ALWAYS a good idea! Some of my couples get married in the city they live in. Other couples are returning to the area they grew up in for their wedding or they’re going to one of their favorite destinations like Aspen to say, “I do.”

It can be so special to do engagement photos in an area that isn’t where you’re getting married and is also a significant place in your relationship! For Ali and Jay that’s New York City.

It was so much fun exploring NYC while getting to know these two and how excited they are for their wedding. I’m so looking forward to their spring 2024 wedding in Austin with the wonderful Courtney of Pearl Events!
