Vibrant Floral Wedding at McGovern Centennial Gardens

Anna Louise and Walker’s spring wedding at McGovern Centennial Gardens in Houston was a joyful day filled with love, laughter, and the most stunning blue hydrangeas! They had a ceremony at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church followed by a flower filled reception at the Centennial Gardens. My photography team, The KHP Collective, photographed their day and did a phenomenal job!

For Anna Louise and Walker’s first look we went to a beautiful spot in the Centennial Gardens near their reception set-up. We were able to take their portraits and some other photos before the church ceremony. Together, Anna Louise and Walker kept each other laughing and smiling the whole time, so their portraits were so fun!

They had a traditional wedding ceremony at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church which is stunning inside! After the ceremony, everyone made their way back to the gardens for cocktail hour.

Wedding Reception Filled with Blue Hydrangeas

Stepping into the reception tent was jaw-dropping. Their incredible vendor team filled every corner of the reception space with bouquets of colorful blooms! The best detail was the hanging floral installation of blue hydrangeas suspended throughout the tent ceiling. Blue is Anna Louise’s favorite color and blue hydrangeas are her favorite flower. Even their dance floor incorporated the blue theme into the pattern.

They danced the night away and shared a private last dance before their grand exit. Guests filled the air with bubbles as they made their way to the light blue Ford Bronco getaway car!
