Annie and Bobby’s May wedding at the Lakeside Country Club in Houston was a day filled with so much happiness and love all around. The joy and laughter Annie and Bobby have together is truly contagious and we enjoyed every second we spent with them leading up to their wedding and on the day of. Oh, and just wait until you see the florals from their English garden inspired reception!

First Look & Church Ceremony

The first look was one of Annie’s favorite parts of the wedding day and she was so eager to see Bobby. The tears were flowing and they were so thankful for that emotional moment they had together. We made sure to leave the room for a few minutes to give Annie and Bobby time to take it all in!

We did their first look and wedding party portraits all before their wedding ceremony at St. John the Divine. After their ceremony and photos, it was time to head to the Lakeside Country Club.

Lakeside Country Club Wedding Reception

Before guests entered the reception space, Annie and Bobby did a reception room reveal. When reflecting on seeing the reception space Annie said, “My mouth FLUNG open and I couldn’t help but cry. It was so magical and truly breathtaking. There is a picture of me grabbing my chest because I felt like the wind was knocked out of me in the most amazing way possible!”

“Elegant explosion” is how Annie describes the florals on their wedding day and it was so fitting. An English garden was their inspiration with all the light spring colors and various textures in the flowers. Whimsical butterflies were a main accent and decorated both the escort card stand and the stunning blue Ginori place settings. Flowers in tones of light blue, lavender, and blush were throughout the venue from the moment guests walked up to enter through the entry way and into the ballroom. It was as breathtaking as Annie described it!

The reception began and they did their first dances, cake cutting, and a champagne tower pour. They sat down for dinner and soon everyone was ready to dance! The Manhattan Band kept the energy flowing all night long!

As the night went on guests enjoyed fresh rolled cigars on the patio. Light up cowboy hats and colorful tambourines were a hit among people on the dance floor. As guests lined up for the exit, Annie and Bobby had the dance floor all to themselves for one final dance. As they made their grand exit, guests waved ribbon wands and sparklers lit up the driveway as they drove away!

We photographed Annie and Bobby’s engagement session, a bridal PJ party, and their rehearsal dinner before the big day. We’ve loved all the time we spent with these two and their loved ones! Love you to pieces Annie and Bobby!
