Vanity Fair-Inspired Photo Booth Rental
When a client recently asked us to provide an interactive, high-end photo booth rental experience for her 50th birthday party in addition to photography, we were so happy to oblige!
What she wanted was something along the lines of Mark Seliger’s now-famous portraits from each year’s Vanity Fair Oscars party. According to Vanity Fair, attendees look forward to it every year because of the beautiful, professional, and interesting set ups!
We immediately went into creative mode, along with her amazing planner, Emily Brasseaux from Belle Events, and dreamt up this custom solution that exceeded even our own expectations.

On-Location Portrait Studio
The Lounge is a Vanity Fair-inspired interactive guest experience that is truly more of an on-location portrait studio than a traditional photo booth, which is a great thing for a number of reasons:
The setting is completely customized to match each client’s unique event inspiration and decor!
There is a LIVE photographer dedicated to this space and the guests for the duration of the photo booth rental timeframe, to ensure everyone not only looks their best but also has a ton of fun!
Professional 4X6 photos are printed immediately and given to guests, matted and in a protective sleeve or envelope, to take home as a memorable and meaningful gift from the host, hostess, or bride and groom.
The Process
If this is exactly what you’ve been hoping to have at your wedding or event in addition to your traditional photography, we would absolutely love to talk to you about all of the possibilities! Here’s a little more about the process to answer some questions up front.
First, we work directly with your planner to determine where the setting will best fit in your event space. It is significantly larger than a traditional photo booth, and will typically be in an un-trafficked area like a corner of the room.
Next, together with the planner, we will work with your florist and your rental vendor to pull together an amazing setting based on your personal style, preferences, and event inspiration and colors! The florals and decor for the setting are a separate cost from the actual photo booth rental time, and your planner will be able to help you keep track of that.
On the day of the event we will take care of everything from set up, to styling and posing you and your guests…in FUN ways, of course – no boring stuff here, to printing, preparing, and handing the photos out within minutes after they’re taken!
