This sweet couple was a dream to work with, and it was so much fun seeing their wedding vision come to life at the beautiful Commodore Perry Estate in Austin!

Spring Wedding at the Commodore Perry Estate

Alexa said her “inspiration was spring (my favorite season)! I love the warmth and positivity that spring elicits on people. I wanted our wedding to make people feel love by using some pinks, warmth and excitement through orange-colored accents, and grounded by nature through different shades of green.”

The couple worked with the talented Victoria Cornelius at Belle Events to make their vision a reality, and they knocked it out of the park!

It was a perfect day for the outdoor ceremony, followed by a garden party-style dinner under string lights, and dancing with friends and family.

One of Alexa’s favorite details was the napkins with an illustration of their dog Nike on them! She hoped that people smiled when they looked at him and “felt like they had a sense of us and what is important to us”!

Her absolute favorite part about the day, though, was the people surrounding her. She credits her vendor team with making their vision a reality, and also said it was so special having so many friends and family together in one place to celebrate with.

Overall, Alexa’s advice to future brides and engaged couples would be to “just lean in to the process, enjoy it, and stay present because it flies by! There was so much going on during our wedding weekend and one of the best decisions that we made was hiring a photographer that we loved and trusted to capture all the special moments.

She also said that one of their favorite things about working with Kelly and her team “was the joy that she brings to her craft – it’s infectious!!! We cannot stop laughing when we are around her. Even when Casey is worried about how his hair looks – we know that she will work wonders!”
