Lakeside Country Club in the Fall

Houston doesn’t necessarily have seasons, but we still like to think of October as fall around here, and the weather cooperated perfectly on Emily & Michael’s wedding day!

Emily flipped the script on traditional autumnal decor though, and chose to channel her love for spring instead.  When we asked about her design inspiration, she said, “Our whole house is blue and green, and I wanted it to feel like spring!”  Elizabeth Hubbard of Keely Thorne Events absolutely made it happen.

Favorite Details

Emily said her favorite details of the day were “the fun seating, and the extra seating! I don’t love to dance so wanted to to be a comfortable place to socialize”, and the lounge-style seating fit the bill!

Special Touch

Emily’s beautiful wedding day look was completed by a gorgeous, delicate veil…that her mom made!
