Summer Magic at Horseshoe Bay

Morgan and Jack were one of the sweetest and most fun couples to work with! They worked with esteemed planner Barbara Shorts, of Verve Events Austin, to create a magical mix of class and Texas charm for their June 2025 wedding at Horseshoe Bay Resort.

The fabulous venue, located in the heart of the Texas hill country, is a perfect setting for a destination wedding that is still close to home. Since this sweet bride and groom are from Fort Worth, many of their friends and family were able to make the trip down to celebrate with them for the weekend, and we’re sure they would say it was worth making the trip!

Exquisite Design

The neutral color palette, abundant florals, romantic candlelight, and elegant table settings created a warm and inviting environment, from the ceremony to the reception space! But this wedding was anything but stuffy or boring; the band brought the party and the couple, along with their family and friends, kept it going on the dance floor until the sparkler-lit end.

One of our favorite moments of the night, second only to Morgan’s adorable second-look reveal, was their private last dance. A two step around the floor of an empty room that felt right out of a George Strait song.
