The day began with an original poem from a father to his sweet eldest daughter. A poem. Something she will forever and always have with her to remind her of that amazing day.
Then. Matt could not stop smiling as his beautiful Hannah approached him for their first look of the day. Her butterflies where so apparent. She tapped him on the shoulder. He turned. And again he could not stop smiling from that point on. His Hannah is radiant as a bride.
They rest of the day was magical. No dry eyes. Some of the most awesome friends and family surrounded them all day. These two are SO LOVED!
A father/daughter dance worthy of u-tube.
A beautifully decorated country club.
A party worthy of Hawaiian Lei’s hanging from the chandeliers.
A perfect all alone last dance. A perfect night for Hannah & Matt.
Thanks for having me and Joe…we think the world of you two and your amazing family!!
Some of Hannah & Matt’s memories from the day:
Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?
A. H- My favorite part was just seeing how all the planning that my mom and I did come together so perfectly. I also loved having all of our friends and family in one place celebrating our marriage.
M- Seeing my bride walk down the aisle.
Q. What was one quirky of crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?
A. H- Our organist came an hour before the ceremony began to practice with the soloist, and as she was practicing, she started feeling very sick. The wedding coordinator had to call in a replacement organist about 30 minutes before the ceremony started. Thankfully, I did not find out about any of this until after we got back from the honeymoon.
Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. H- A moment I will never forget is standing at the back of the church, on my dad’s arm, when the doors opened and I looked down the aisle toward my best friend with all of our friends and family among us.
M- The whole thing was a special moment
Q. Any special details you would like to tell us about?
A. H- We got married at Second Baptist Church which is where my parents got married 29 years ago. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to get married there.
Q. Where will you be as a couple in five years? Hopes, dreams, kids, etc.?
A. H- I hope that we are in our first home and that we will have one or two children by then. Most of all, I hope that we will be able to look back on five great years of memories with our friends and family.
M- One kid on the ground and maybe one on the way and in our first home, involved in the community and in our church—turning 30.
Q. What do you look forward to the most about being married?
A. A. H- Growing old with my best friend
M- Hanging out with Hannah 24-7
