A BEAUTIFUL week last week was spent with my main man in the beautiful state of Oregon.  We got to rest and enjoy peace and solitude on a ranch in The Middle of Nowhere, Oregon.

Who gets to do stuff like this?  What life am I living?  Holy cow I am so thankful.

We flew into Portland and made a MAJOR detour out to the Pacific Coast Highway on our way south to The Big K Ranch. This is the place we camped out in cabins, ate gourmet meals, worshiped, hiked and took a couple pictures with about 40 other people with the same goals in mind…to grow closer to our creator…to enjoy this art…to relish in the crispness of air only He can create…to rest in His arms and cut off all the other distractions in our lives.  There could have been nothing better.  The For the Love Workshop is something anyone should look into.  Be sure and check it out here.  It is heavy on the worship and light on the photography.  Heck there were some amazing people there who are not even photographers…so no one should feel excluded.

Joe and I will forever be so thankful for the week of fellowship, rest and rejuvenation it created in our bones and souls.

It refreshed my love for what I do.  It gave me perspective into why I do what I do.  It blessed me with vision and focus.  I’m so pumped for 2014 and all the exciting things we have in store for KHP and our family.

I cannot wait to tell you about the next upcoming mission trip this summer.  About the new looks of things around here.  About all the AMAZING clients who are getting married, having babies & have incredible families in 2014!!  It’s gonna rock!
