It’s been an interesting year already…and we are only 6 days in.

So far we have battled strep accompanied by a horrible rash and blistering all over Jake’s face…passing that virus along to Joe who is now dealing with getting over that AND a limp eye from a hunting accident that happened after new years.  Don’t ask.

So….here I sit.  After a good amount of time alone with the Lord, and MUCH prayer, I sit behind my computer on a day that Holt would have been home last semester.  Yes, I sent him off to school 5 days a week…starting today.  Trust me…this is one that I wrestled with…making sure I am not sending him to school all of those days out of pure selfishness.  It’s all so silly I’m sure…in God’s eyes…but I truly want to raise these boys up loving them my best…and I know that me sending him to school 5 days a week a semester earlier than I ever anticipated IS loving them the best that I can.  Already on day one…I am accomplishing tasks that have been hanging over my head for MONTHS…and am so pumped to pick them up and go for an exploration hike with them after school, do homework and cook dinner…WAIT WHAT?!?!  Did I just say I am excited about all that?  Case in point…praise the Lord for 5 days a week of school for this mama.

I cannot wait to start off 2015 with some beautiful people who grace my life.  People who have trusted me to help document their memories.  Still…7 years into this business I am so grateful for that.  I have my highs.  I have my lows.  But all in all I love what I get to call a “JOB”.  Thank you for following me on this journey.  Thank you for trusting me.  Thank you for encouraging and loving me.  I have learned so much from this amazing business.  I look forward to what is to come…

So here goes nothing 2015…whatcha’ got for me?
