Beach Engagement Session in Watercolor Florida

Caroline and Jake’s beach engagement session was everything you hope for with a session at the beach! They brought out their beach bicycles and we spent time at a gorgeous park before heading down to the beach. Caroline’s family has a home in Watercolor, so they’ve vacationed there for many years. Watercolor even became a significant place in Caroline and Jake’s relationship, so much so that it’s where Jake proposed!

Engagement Session in Watercolor Florida

Watercolor is along the 30a stretch on the northwest gulf of Florida. For their engagement session, we started at Caroline’s family home with photos with the bicycles they often ride around town and to the beach. Then we headed to one of the prettiest parks, Cerulean Park. The lighting, the greenery, and all the tall trees made Cerulean Park the perfect place in town for a stroll along the trails.

After Caroline and Jake changed outfits, it was time for photos on the beach! We headed to one of their favorite spots and enjoyed walking along the water. I LOVE the outfits they chose for their engagement photos. Caroline’s pink floral dress paired with Jake’s navy suit jacket and khaki pants created a classy look with colors that popped. They went with more neutral colors for the photos along the beach and it gave their photos a more casual feel that fits the beach setting.

It was so special to experience the quaint beach town of Watercolor with Caroline and Jake! Engagement sessions in locations that are meaningful to you both and to your relationship are always the best. I’m so excited for their April 2024 wedding in Horseshoe Bay which will be planned by the incredible Verve Events!
