houston engagement photography -lindsay + jonathan-

Their first date was at a play in The Hobby Center.
Their favorite song is “This Kind Of Love” by Sister Hazel.
Their night this past Friday was epic, as Jonathan proposed to his sweet Lindsay.

She was picked up at 3:25 by the limo and dropped off out front of The Hobby Center where Jonathan was awaiting her arrival.  She was clueless.  The evening was a celebration of their 2 year anniversary and Jonathan had gotten them a “meet the cast” exclusive before the show that night (or so he told her).  They walked up to the front of Zilkha Hall and awaited the curtain to rise.  Jonathan looked for their champagne that was supposed to be awaiting them, and could not “find it” so he ran out of the theater to quickly ask.  Meanwhile a piano and a microphone awaited behind the red curtian.  The place where he came and sat as soon as he left her side.  The piano keys started humming and the red curtian dramatically rose and Jonathan sang “This Kind Of Love” to a completely shocked Lindsay in the audience.  As he sang, she cried, she laughed and she enjoyed…all with a beating heart and shaking hands.  She was escorted up on stage where he whispered many words and got down on a knee and asked her the most important question of their lives.  An honor.  A privledge.  THE reason I do what I do.  Lindsay + Jonathan thank you for allowing me into your imtimate spaces to document something you will forever cherish.  You blessed me in your moment.  congrats!!  We are praying for your sweet future marriage!
