A beautiful white chapel on the property of an old manor housed to wedding day of Breann + Jay.
He proposed with a vintage bike that he is currently fixing up for her as a gift…so a blue bike, some beautiful colors and an incredible bride and groom set the scene.  The artist love birds did an awesome job of totally playing up their details all the way down to a fingerprint tree drawn by her and a Toy Story groom’s cake because his dream is to animate for Pixar.  Joe and I had a blast getting to be a part of these sweet families for the day.  It was a day full of amazing joy.  I loved watching the giddy-ness of Breann’s bridesmaids.  Never have I seen so much joy for their friend.  It was awesome.  I also loved the choreographed bride + groom dance and the jitterbugging by Breann’s parent’s.  The night was fabulous.  Breann was RADIANT…and Jay was so stinkin’ dapper.

Some of Breann’s memories from the day:

Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?

A. My groom!  And the Best Man’s speech!

Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. My dad tripping over my dress after he gave me away…and getting nervous giggles that I couldn’t stop.

Q.  What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A.  MARRYING JAY!  🙂  I had a lot of fun mingling/dancing with my friends and family too!

In the words of the bride: -vendor love-

Venue: Ashelynn Manor
Cakes: Creative Confections
Flowers: Joan West Flowers
Wedding dress: Watters
Hair/make-up: Fashion Forest Beauty Salon
Suits: Perry Ellis
Bridesmaids: Jordan
DIY elements: I got a necklace and a broach from Ross and put them together for my necklace.  I designed the invitations and my mom and I decorated the reception.  I painted all of the birdcages on the tables, folded all of the napkins into tuxedos and inserted postcards that I also made.  I also drew a tree for all of the guests to add a fingerprint to instead of a guest book.  I also made all of the bridesmaids’ jewelry.
Anything else you would like us to know about your special day: I don’t know…it was really hot in my dress?  We tried to personalize it to our personalities as best we could and feel like we were really successful in creating a vintage-chic wedding!
