The day was a perfect shade of blue. Almost as stunning as Nikkie’s eyes.  WOW!
Claire and I were so honored to get to be a part of the families of Nikkie and Blake for their sweet day.  Everything went so smoothly.  Never have I seen a more calm bride.  Throughout the whole engagement process Nikkie has been one of the most chill gals I have ever worked with and the wedding day was no different.  Her brother was able to make it in for the big day from the navy seals and everyone could not have been happier to have the entire family back together.  Blake was and is ALL SMILES when he just thinks of Nikkie.  From the walking down the aisle to the running out the door and to the limo both were in another world.  The florals, Nikkie’s AMAZING dress, Blake’s adorable smile, the perfect amount of breeze and the way the sun perfectly illuminated them from behind the clouds…all things that will forever be totally unique to them.
Thank you, both of you.  It was such and honor!!!  We would not have wanted to spend out day anywhere else!!

Some of Nikkie & Blake’s memories from the day:

Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?

A. Nikkie- My favorite part… where do I begin? It was PERFECT! Absolutely perfect. My favorite thing was seeing Blake for the first time that day, at the end of the aisle with a huge grin on his face. I couldn’t wait to show him my dress.I didn’t have to keep it a secret anymore! Another favorite was seeing Blake with friends that he hadn’t seen in years.
Blake- my favorite part was when the church doors open and I got to see my beautiful wife for the first time in her dress. It was a great party with friends and family that we have not seen in a long time.

Q. What was one quirky of crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?
A.Nothing crazy happened, that we know of at least. At the reception, Blake stepped on and ripped my dress. I heard it rip and kept walking back to our seats and told my mom and wedding coordinator. They were running around the venue looking for safety pins or whatever they could find to hold it together for the night. We finally found safety pins from my cousin who had some on his hunting vest.I was so relieved.

Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. Having everyone we love there to celebrate our wedding with us! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. Thank you to EVERYONE that made our day PERFECT!

Q. Where will you be as a couple in five years? Hopes, dreams, kids, etc.?
A. In five years, we will hopefully have a child, maybe another one on the way. I have always dreamed of owning a bakery, so maybe those plans will be in the works so I can do that. Blake will still be working where he does today, loving his job everyday
