The day had a chill.  Anaise got ready in a beautifully lit room among so many of her sweet friends and family.  All the talk was centered on the amazing man she was about to marry as well as the beautiful details surrounding the beautiful bride.  Richard and his boys helped him into his formal uniform in a room just downstairs.  The boys joked, laughed and loved on their boy Richard.
Richard was about to marry his dream girl.
After serving time, long distance & many obstacles to overcome Richard proposed to Anaise in NYC on Good Morning America…I’d say that’s one heck of a way to get the ball rolling.
Ever since then they have been planning the dream wedding and no detail was left unnoticed.  It was a beautiful wedding and a BEAUTIFUL reception.
Joe and I were so honored to be there.  Thank you both for allowing us to document your sweet day!

Some of Anaise & Richard’s memories from the day:

Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?

A. Our favorite part was at the point of saying out I Do’s in front of Family and Friends. We also loved the process of getting ready forcrhe wedding and sword ceremony.

Q. What was one quirky of crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?
A Richard and I would have to say when he realized he forgot the wedding rings in the hotel. It was pretty funny because his best man went to the reception not realizing he was not in the Magnolia Hotel. It was a stressful situation watch a funny outcome.

Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. As the Bride, I had two special moments. The first special moment was receiving my gift from my groom. He gave me a one of a kind hand sketched picture of my wedding dress from the designer! It was the most beautiful gift anyone had ever given me. The thought and idea meant so much to me because I will always have this picture and get to show it off in our home!
My second special moment was walking down the aisle for the first time and seeing my grooms face as I met him at the alter. My husband looked so handsome in his uniform I felt like cinderella marrying her prince! We embraced confessing our love in front of our family and friends and how important the sacred of marriage is to us both.

Q.  Any special details you would like to tell us about?
A. I designed the candle votives and pillars. The help of my wedding planner we both came up with my wedding booklet design for guest to keep and also helped design the wedding invitations and programs.

Q. Where will you be as a couple in five years? Hopes, dreams, kids, etc.?
A. We both will be taking off in our careers and hope to buy our first home and building a family. We both want at least three children. I also know we will be madly in love with each other and will continue to live our lives to the fullest by traveling the world if god willing.

Q. What do you look forward to the most about being married?
A. Sharing our lives together as husband and wife, starting our own family and continuing this tradition of marriage.
