Rarely does life play out like we fantasize it in our heads. Jake and Sarah had every intention of a fall wedding later this year until they received a little surprise that threw a kink in that “dream”. Sarah was expecting! Little “kinks”…that really is what life is all about. How will we handle things that both we do ourselves and things that just seem to pop up? Sarah, her sweet mom and Jake threw together a BEAUTIFUL wedding in a rush of months. One that they will always be able to look back on and be so thankful for. One that they will have no regrets of. One that celebrated their beautiful love, sweet family and friends, and even a celebration of their new bundle of joy when cutting into their PINK cake! It was a perfect day. These two have a love that is so easy. They even tend to pick out the SAME cards for eachother on special occasions…two of a kind! Jake, with his cool, calm presence, and Sarah with her laid back outlook and the way she looks at you with her beautiful smile…It was all so right, so real, so sweet.

Congrats Jake & Sarah! All the best with this and the next stage of life you are about to embark on! What a wonderful blessing you have before you!!

Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?

A. We loved it all! The ceremony, getting introduced at the reception, our cake reveal!!

Q. What was one quirky of crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?

A. My hair lady didn’t show up, so at 5:30am I woke up all my bridesmaids and curled all of their hair!

Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?

A. Saying “I do” to the man of my dreams and then finding out that we will have a baby GIRL in August!!

Q. Any special details you would like to tell us about?

A. My mom and I made the candy buffet.
I designed my brooch bouquet and NASA Flowers put it all together for me!! (it was amazing!!!)
My parents glued pink “B’s” to LOTS of white bags and filled them with goodies for all of our out if town guests staying in the hotel!

Q. Where will you be as a couple in five years? Hopes, dreams, kids, etc.?

A. We will definitely have a kid..maybe two!! I see us in our home (that we are in the process of purchasing) doing our jobs that we love and raising our kids. I am hoping to be back in school working towards my masters degree in education and Jake is always looking for ways to advance his career! We love and miss central Texas (where we went to college) so, maybe not in 5 years, but eventually, we hope to make it back there!

Q. What do you look forward to the most about being married?

A. Getting to hang out with my best friend everyday!! – Jake
