The whole day Amy was surrounded by amazing friends and family.  They were giddy putting on her wedding dress.  Her veil, worn by her mother on her wedding day, was carefully placed on her head while her grandmother watched and everyone smiled.

Amy could not wait to meet her Steve.

Steve and his boys were candidly joking…laughing, smiling…there was not a lack of fun the whole time they were getting ready.

Steve could not wait to meet his Amy.

Amy’s dad held it together as he handed off his sweet eldest daughter to a man he knows will love and protect her forever.

The rest of the evening was awesome.  Beautiful dancing, family that had not seen eachother in forever, TONS of love for Amy & Steve.

Thank you both for having me and Joe.  It was an absolute honor to be there!  We love who you are and the glimpse we caught of who God intends for you to be.

Some of Amy & Steve’s memories from the day:
Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?

A. Having all of our family and friends there to celebrate with us – there was just so much love and support in the room. It was almost overwhelming!

Q. What was one quirky of crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?

A. The water went out at our reception venue about an hour before the ceremony started, so we were almost without drinking water and restrooms for the evening! Thankfully, the water came back on just in time – crisis averted  When I found out, I was already in my dress and sitting in the ready room, so there wasn’t much I could do at that point but pray!

Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?

A. Amy- Walking down the aisle to meet Steve. It was such an emotional moment standing there with my dad waiting to walk, and I felt the tears welling up pretty quickly. But as soon as the doors opened and I saw Steve waiting for me, I couldn’t help but have the biggest grin on my face! It was as if I couldn’t get down the aisle fast enough.

Steve- Reciting our vows. We worked long and hard to select vows that really meant something to us and it was very special to say them to each other in front of our family and friends. Those words were the most meaningful words I will ever say, and to hear Amy say the same words to me was a memory that I will never forget.

Q. Any special details you would like to tell us about?

A. We were so blessed to have many family members and friends travel from across the country to celebrate with us. For several, it was their first time ever visiting Texas! It meant so much to us to know that people made the trek to support us on this new chapter of our lives together.

Q. Where will you be as a couple in five years? Hopes, dreams, kids, etc.?

A. In five years, I think our prayer is that we will be even more in love and will continually be bringing each other to grow closer to God. Kids – hopefully! We’re both currently settling into our careers as attorneys and just bought a house, so we look forward to growing into our new home and encouraging each other’s careers.

Q. What do you look forward to the most about being married?

A. Growing even closer together and helping each other grow closer to God.
