Some people just create moments.  I don’t know how they do it, but they do it oh so well.  I cannot even begin to top the perfect responses to their questions so I am mostly going to let them speak for themselves.  But before I go I just want to say that it was an INCREDIBLE honor to get to be a part of this sweet couple’s journey.  Thad and Lindsay are a couple that I might not get to see much but if know I get to hang out with them I am WAY TOO excited.  I adore these two.  I am so excited to see where this journey takes them.  Two of the sweetest, most genuinely sincere, caring people I have even gotten to spend time with.  Wendi and I had an awesome time getting to capture their beautifully special moments throughout the entire night!

Some of Thad & Lindsay’s memories from the day:
Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?

A. Lindsay – my favorite moment was when the ceremony was over and everyone relaxed and started being funny. I was laughing a lot and was already happier than I ever thought I could be.

Thad – I have two favorite parts about the wedding. My first favorite moment was seeing and holding Lindsay’s hand for the first time during the ceremony. I will always remember this first touch because it honestly feels like I’m still holding her hand from the ceremony. My second favorite moment was hanging out with the Dads and the groomsmen before the ceremony. It was amazing company during a very special time for me.

Q. What was one quirky or crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?

A. Thad – I forgot the wedding ring back at the hotel (after constant reminders from our planner to bring it). I honestly couldn’t believe I forgot it. I was in such a rush to get to the church on time, that I left the ring in my suitcase. Luckily, one of our readers was awesome enough to go back and get it for me and I had it with plenty of time to spare! Thank you Cameron!

 Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?

A. Thad – obviously, the most special moment for me was seeing Lindsay for the first time as she walked down the aisle. And surprisingly, the other special moment for me was looking in Lindsay’s eyes as I was saying my vows. There was the one moment when her lip quivered as she was fighting back tears – I will always remember that.

Lindsay – being announced as Mr. and Mrs. Lang for the first time.

Q. What do you look forward to most about being married?

A. Lindsay – spending the rest of our lives together.

Thad – I’m looking for to being married to my best friend. I will love coming home to my wife (and kids) and stopping everything I’m doing to spend time with them. I will love being a part of a “team” with my wife. And most importantly, I will love dating my wife. I will always fight for her and I will always pursue her till the day I die.

Q. Where do you hope you will you be as a couple in five years?

A. Well since we just got back from our honeymoon in Belize….we hope to be living in Belize in 5 years

Obviously we hope to have started a family in five years, and we want to continue living in Houston. We would love for our kids to grow up in the church we were married in (St. Luke’s United Methodist), and we know we will be wonderful parents. Other than that – we are enjoying being married and will love planning our future together.
