Chris & Lauren -i do, i do-

The day was beautiful.  Many of Chris and Lauren’s closest friends and family came down for their main event.  The colors selected went perfectly with the blueness of the cloudless sky.  Just looking at these pictures make me smile.  The whole weekend was so perfect ask anyone who was there and we would all want to go back.  Thank you Chris and Lauren for asking me and Joe to be there.  It was an honor to be amongst you all and to feel so much a part of the joyous love.

Some of Chris & Lauren’s memories from the day:
Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?

 A. It is hard for me to pick one particularly thing about the wedding as my favorite. I think my favorite thing was that everyone seemed to have such a good time and really enjoy themselves. That was what really wanted when we were planning the wedding and I think we accomplished it. Oh, and I was (and still am) obsessed with my dress! Could not have wanted anything more!

 Q. What was one quirky or crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?

 A. My veil being out of control during our entire ceremony was pretty crazy. At many points I thought it was going to fly off my head! Maybe should have thought about wearing a full length veil on top of a rooftop on the beach beforehand, but for some reason I never considered that there would be wind! Whoops!

Chris and I also thought the bubble machine that the DJ pulled out during our first dance was pretty hilarious! It was pretty funny though and Chris and I do like the laugh!

  Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?

 A.  I think the most special moment of the wedding day was seeing Chris during our “first look.” I had been so nervous and anxious during the whole getting ready process and it was seeing him that finally put me at ease. And, he looked very very handsome

 Q. What do you look forward to most about being married?

 A. I think we are most looking forward to spending time together. For the few months before the wedding, it felt like we were constantly running around doing wedding stuff and stuff for the house (for some reason we thought it would be a good idea to renovate our house at the same time we were getting married). So now that the wedding and house are done, I think we are really just excited about getting to spend time together in our “normal” lives.

 Q. Where do you hope you will you be as a couple in five years?

 A. If I am answering this question, I would say still madly in love, with a couple kids, and maybe another dog (because our three puppies clearly aren’t enough). If Chris was answering this question, he would say “still madly in love, with a couple kids, but no more dogs, we have three already!
