This weekend Joe and I were so blessed to get to escape to the amazing city of Chicago for a long weekend to enjoy one last weekend before the summer and to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.  The weekend involved no computers, massages, shopping, LOTS of food, room service, LOTS of sleeping and plenty of alone time!  We did a running tour of the sites…you know, the museums, the fountain, the bean, navy pier and many of the areas where I have done many photoshoots in Lincoln park.  The iPhone was the camera.  We did bring our sweet new point and shoot Canon, but I am still in MAJOR need of practice.  All of the pics were of one of us, or us holding the camera back at us…quite pathetic, but still fun.

shopping was complete…eventhough I now suck at it…however, I did raid Nike-town for cool work out gear, and to feel “cute” while sweating balls all summer in the backyard with the boys.

what an incredibly sweet weekend remembering who we are as a couple.  Thank you to the grandparents for watching the minions!  What a sweet night to come home to plenty of tackles, hugs and kisses from our little men!
