The whole day was magical. Claire and I got to wake up to the beautiful skyline of New York City. When we joined in with the crew it was like we had been their friends since the beginning of time. Anna and all of her girls are the coolest…the ambiance was so chill. Anna’s dress hung in the window of beautiful streaming light just waiting on her to adorn it. The adorable coral bridesmaids dresses were the perfect compliment to Anna’s gorgeous red hair. No detail was left unnoticed. Between the grossgrain ribbon wrapping the bouquet so beautifully to the awesome chevron letterpress stationary throughout the day it all flowed so perfectly. Being across the river, the New York City skyline was shown off so well, she did not need anything else to help her. And the changing of the light from day to night, upon her face, went from a beautiful smile to awesome shimmer and sparkle. Anna & Dan reflected this same light from day to night as the city they love so much. And when the end of the night came we cheered them off and Claire and I hoped in the driver’s seats of the car and got to drive them off…just call us photographer/shuttle service, and there is no other way we would have had it. Dan & Anna are contagious….we were HONORED to be there for it all…and even more excited to drive them “home”. It was a perfect wedding in New Jersey for an AWESOME couple that we now call dear friends and love so much!!
Some of Anna & Dan’s memories from the day:
Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?
A. Having so many of our favorite people together in one place.
Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. Seeing each other for the first time before the ceremony.
Q. Did you do anything yourself?
A. Our invitations, programs, place cards and menus were designed by Anna and printed for us by a family friend. Anna also made the poster for our guests to sign. Anna made the bag for the flower girl petals and Anna’s mom, Leslie made the ring bearer pillow. Anna’s brother-in-law, Josh made our chuppah. Dan’s favorite personal touch was that we managed to track down pictures of all of our immediate relatives, back to our grandparents, from the year when they were married; most of the pictures were from their weddings, a few were of the newly married couple. We then displayed these pictures at the reception.
Q. Where do you hope you will you be as a couple in five years?
A. Still being a couple of goofballs, maybe with a couple baby goofballs.
