Carter & Kyle Engagements

Carter and Kyle’s Houston Engagement Session in River Oaks was a sunlit dream! River Oaks is one of my favorite areas for sessions in the Houston area and we couldn’t have asked for a better December session here. 

Houston Engagement Session at River Oaks

Carter and Kyle chose sophisticated and timeless outfits for their engagement photos. I LOVED Emily’s white detailed Zimmerman dress paired with Kyle’s blue suit jacket! For the second half of their session, Kyle took off his suit jacket which created a slightly more casual look for the photos. They got a different look in their photos without having to do a full outfit change.

Carter and Kyle nailed it! Their simple and classic outfits allow the focus in the photos to be on them!

Engagement Photos with Your Dog 

I love when couple’s include something special and meaningful to the two of them into their engagement session. Sometimes it can be a location (like Aspen), details you wear, an activity, etc. For Carter and Kyle, it was including their pup in some engagement photos! 

If you’re thinking of including your dog into your engagement session, my number one tip is to have a plan for your dog! We won’t need your dog involved in all the photos, so it’s always best if you have a friend or family member who can help. They can bring the dog to meet up with us or even take the dog for a walk while the rest of the session continues! 

Carter and Kyle were married in March this year and I cannot wait to show you more of their full wedding day! If you love their engagement outfit style, their wedding day  takes it to another level!
