Emily and Christian had a joyful and colorful wedding at Sendera Springs in Kerrville, TX. My photography team, The KHP Collective, photographed their spring wedding in the hill country and they did an outstanding job per usual!

Emily and Christian both started getting ready at the venue with their wedding party. Before her first look with Christian, Emily did a first look with her dad and her brothers. It was such a sweet moment and allowed for her to have private time with her immediate family before the rush of the wedding day began. Next, Emily and Christian did their first look and exchanged letters and gifts.

The day of their wedding it had been raining off and on throughout the day. During their outdoor ceremony, it started to sprinkle for about 8 mins but thankfully it never started raining hard. By the time they were walking down the aisle as a married couple, the rain had stopped! After the ceremony, their wedding party, family and couple’s photos were all able to be outside with the sun shining!

Wedding Reception at Sendera Springs

Their wedding reception space was decorated with greenery, and bright, whimsical flower blooms and bouquets. Their dog Leo was included on the signature drink menu and his face was also on the koozies. Such a fun way to incorporate their dog even if he wasn’t there physically! Music is a part of both Emily and Christian’s lives, so for their guestbook they had people sign records!

With “Coming Home,” by Leon Bridges playing, Christian and Emily did their first dance. Before the open dancing began, Christian brought out his guitar and performed a song for Emily! They spent the rest of the evening celebrating with their loved ones and hitting the dance floor. After one last private dance together, guests sent them off with a sparkler exit!

“We LOVE Kelly, Glenna and Aric. After our engagement session and my bridals I was so excited to have Glenna and Aric shoot our wedding. They genuinely feel like friends and make you feel so comfortable and beautiful while doing something that can make you feel out of your comfort zone! I know these are pictures we will cherish forever and get to share with our one-day kids and grandkids. They are so special and the joy captured in each moment is felt just by looking at them.”
