We’re in love with Kelley and Jackson’s spring engagement photos at Memorial Park in Houston! Claire, one of our KHP Collective photographers, photographed Kelley and Jackson’s engagement session and did amazing as usual!

Kelley and Jackson ironically met at THREE different weddings in 2020 and enjoyed hanging out at each one. At the third wedding, Jackson asked Kelley out and now they’re planning their own wedding!

About Engagement Photos at Memorial Park

Memorial Park is a beautiful, massive park just west of downtown Houston! Recently the Eastern Glades has been a favorite engagement session location within Memorial Park. It’s super easy to access and it offers beautiful backgrounds year-round like the boardwalk along Hines Lake, plenty of greenery, and towering trees. Don’t you love how Kelley’s blue dress pops with all the greenery in the background?! Such a perfect outfit choice!

We always recommend scheduling your engagement session on a weekday to avoid being at the park during the weekend rush and to have more of the park to yourselves. Live Oak Court is also at the Eastern Glades and some of Houston’s best food trucks set-up there. It’s a fun spot for a casual date night to go on a long walk and try food from local food trucks!
