Jenny & Jack
The joy felt on a wedding day is always on another level, and was so true for Jenny and Jack’s spring wedding at the Forest Club in Houston! They had their wedding ceremony at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, and then everyone headed to The Forest Club for cocktail hour and the reception.
Classic Blue & White Wedding in Houston
The day of the wedding, Jenny and her bridesmaids got ready at her parent’s home. Jenny’s bridesmaids wore gorgeous white dresses with a floral design that complemented the garden party theme. Meanwhile, Jack and his groomsmen got ready and played card games until it was time to head to the ceremony.
Jack first saw Jenny as she walked down the aisle with her farther at the breathtaking St. Martin Episcopal Church. After the ceremony we took family and wedding party photos at the church and then everyone made their way to The Forest Club.
Garden Party Wedding Reception at The Forest Club
To start off the evening, Jenny and Jack made their grand entrance and went right into their first dance surrounded by all of their loved ones. After the welcome toast, everyone made their way inside for dinner.
Jenny had always dreamed of having a classic blue and white wedding with a garden party feel. Keely Thorne Events and Events in Bloom turned her dreams into reality! The clear reception tent was decorated with a mix of greenery and white flowers paired with light blue accents. Guests found their table assignment on the escort card wall covered in paper butterflies that had the guest name and table number. I love noticing the small details that make wedding decor unique to the couple like the butterflies included throughout the details of Jenny and Jack’s day. Even the dance floor confetti was paper butterflies!
After the formal reception events, one of Jenny and Jack’s favorite parts of the wedding day was finally getting to the dance floor! Jenny remembers, “After the getting ready, ceremony, dinner, greeting guests – I was so excited to just have a good time and dance the night away (which we did)!” Jenny changed into a sparkly wedding reception dress that allowed her to dance away! As the night came to a close, Jenny and Jack shared a private last dance and then were showered with flower petals as they made their grand exit!
The KHP Experience
Here are the kind words that Jenny and Jack shared about their experience working with our team:
“Kelly and her team made the day so fun and not stressful. She captured the best candid moments and made the formal photos go quick and easy but still got the BEST shots. She is so laid back and just enjoyable to be around! And takes truly the most beautiful photos I have ever seen!!!. . . Jack and I couldn’t stop smiling as we looked through the photos. . . we looked through every single one and it made us so happy to reminisce on the best weekend!”
Jenny and Jack are such a fun and joyful couple to be around! I’m so grateful to have been a part of their wedding day!
