Springtime Engagement Photos in Houston

Sami & Andrew

Sami & Andrew had such a cool vibe as a couple, and wanted a mix of classic and moody photos.  We were excited to head out to the Eastern Glades at Memorial Park to spend an evening with them for their engagement photos in Houston, and captured so many sweet moments against a lush, green, springtime backdrop!

Multiple Locations in One for Engagement Photos in Houston

Eastern Glades offers a wide variety of places to shoot that all look different, without ever having to leave the park!

Sami and Andrew started out walking along a tree-lined trail that they had all to themselves before making their way to a classic private park bench.  From there they spread out a blanket, opened a bottle of champagne and did some fun toasts, and finally walked and danced in an open field with twinkly lights in the background.  It was truly perfection, and being able to photograph so many different scenes in one place is part of why we love doing sessions at Eastern Glades.

Scheduling Your Session

It’s no secret that Houston gets beyond hot in the summer, but the foliage is dead and fairly ugly in the winter.  If you’re wanting to do an outdoor session, we highly recommend scheduling in the fall or spring if at all possible.  We can and will work with (almost) any kind of weather and will get great photos, but for your comfort…especially if your groom is wearing a coat…you’ll thank each other for looking at options in the cooler temps!

Whether you book your engagements as part of a wedding package, or as a standalone session, we’ll work with you to choose a great date and the best time of day for the most beautiful lighting!
