Saying “I Do” at Gasparilla Inn

Boca Grande has a special place in the Johnson family’s hearts, and with their summer home just down the street, the beautiful grounds of Gasparilla Inn were a natural choice for their wedding venue. The couple opted for a late October date when the Florida weather was mild, and hosted a wonderful celebratory weekend for friends and family who joined them from all over the country!

Late Fall Magic

It was a perfect Saturday afternoon at the end of October when Audrey walked down the aisle to start forever with Andrew.

From the jaw-dropping invitation suite, to the floral-filled aisle and altar, the perfectly-appointed tents nestled next to a well-manicured golf course and ponds, to the beat-dropping DJ at the Pink Elephant after party, the Belle Events team brought this sweet couple’s vision to life and created a sophisticated tropical paradise for guests to enjoy at every turn.

That, coupled with the quaint, small-town America feel of this walkable island, made for a truly magical weekend!

The Bridal Looks

Our sweet bride chose a stunning Mira Zwillinger gown from Casa de Novia bridal salon in Houston, and a custom veil, paired with Chanel heels for her nuptials. Her fantastic second look consisted of an Oscar de la Renta mini dress and Betsy Johnson sneakers, and we could not have loved it more! Her family’s lifelong hair stylist-turned-close friend, Christopher Michael Stribling Ritter, helped her complete both looks with a classic soft style for the ceremony and early reception, and a fun updo after her outfit change!

The After Party

Every great party has an after party, and this was no exception. Once the reception wound down, guests were taken by trolley to enjoy more fabulous music, drinks, and dancing just down the street at the Pink Elephant, the most popular restaurant on the island!
