Alexis and Will’s beach engagement session in Galveston was a beautiful and fun-filled session! These two were constantly smiling and keeping each other laughing the entire time which shows in their photos! My photography team, The KHP Collective, photographed Alexis and Will’s engagement session and will photograph their wedding later this year!

Their session started in downtown Galveston near the Tremont House hotel for classic photos before getting sandy at the beach. With engagement sessions, it’s always nice to have options whether it’s different locations and/or outfits. This is why most of our couples wear at least two different outfits during sessions and is something we help with in the planning process! 

Beach Engagement Session in Galveston

The second half of their session was along the beach in Galveston. Alexis changed into a stunning red dress that really popped with the beach landscape. Alexis and Will were up for anything! They ran up and down the beach and in and out of the water too! They had the best time with each other which made their photos feel effortless!

Alexis and Will met at the Kirby Ice House in Houston in 2021. Will was out with some co-workers after a baseball game and Alexis was with a group of girls from a bible study. Will said a really corny pick-up line to start a conversation with Alexis and it worked! One week later they had already been on four dates and knew it was meant to be!

They went on a winter vacation to Steamboat Springs, Colorado where Will proposed on a dog sledding tour. At the top near a frozen pond, Will surprised Alexis when he popped the question! 

Alexis and Will get married later this fall and we cannot wait for their wedding day!
