Elizabeth & Bloor
Elizabeth and Bloor’s summer wedding at Aspen Meadows Resort was nothing short of a dream day! Aspen is Elizabeth and Bloor’s happy place and home away from home. They’ve lived in Aspen, taken trips here, and eventually got engaged at the top of Ute Trail. They knew they had to get married in their favorite mountain town and wanted to share it with their friends and family. They started their Aspen wedding weekend with a welcome party at Kemo Sabe followed by an outdoor rehearsal dinner that evening.
Wedding at Aspen Meadows Resort
On the day of the wedding, Elizabeth and Bloor had an outdoor ceremony at Aspen Meadows Resort with stunning mountain views followed by their wedding reception at the iconic Hotel Jerome. Their ceremony at Anderson Park at Aspen Meadows Resort turned out to be one of their favorite parts of the day! Thankfully, the looming rain clouds parted just in time for their ceremony set before Aspen Mountain. The grounds around Aspen Meadows Resort were perfect for wedding portraits, family photos, and wedding party photos. A small grove of Aspen trees was all we needed to make the magic happen!
Wedding Reception at Hotel Jerome
After their ceremony, everyone headed to Hotel Jerome for the reception. Long reception tables were decorated with candles and floral bouquets filled with roses and ranunculus. They were able to do a reception room reveal to take in the space by themselves before guests started seating. Once they officially entered the reception they went into their first dance followed by dinner and toasts.
After the reception formalities, Elizabeth changed into a sleek silk reception dress and they hit the dance floor. For their exit, Bloor wore his custom-made Kemo Sabe cowboy hat and Elizabeth put on a white fringe jacket over her dress. After their grand exit from Hotel Jerome they grabbed an umbrella and headed to The Caribou Club for the after-party!
