What a beautiful year it has been!!!  Congrats on an amazing 1st anniversary you two!!

Q. What’s the best thing that has happened to you as a couple since you’ve been married?

A. Stephen would probably say the tax credit or dual incomes but probably just getting to wake up and come home to each other every day.  Having someone to help run errands is great too!

Q. What is quirkiest thing that you have learned about each other since you have been married?

A. Stephen: Laura likes to vehemently tell me she doesn’t like certain foods forcing me to make her try them.  Then a week later she will be stealing them off my plate (ex: bacon, bell peppers, iced tea)

Laura: While Stephen is “sleeping”, he likes to lift my head off the pillow, steal the pillow, and then let my head drop to the mattress.  Meanwhile, he hoards all of the pillows on the bed.

Q. What is the furthest destination you have traveled to together this year and tell us about it.

A. We were blessed to get to spend two weeks in Fiji on our honeymoon.  It was perfect and we got to travel to two different islands experiencing both the beach and rainforest environments.  We would love to go back; we just need to figure out how to cut the flight time in half

Q. What is the biggest piece of advice you can offer newly weds?

A. Being married makes your schedule extra busy trying to juggle two people’s schedules/friends.  Make sure you are intentional about spending time together just the two of you where your sole focus is on your husband/wife.  Date nights can relieve the weekly stresses and help you remember how blessed you are to have each other.

Be sure and relive their sweet day here.
