Popping a bottle of champagne was how we kicked off Morgan and Patrick’s engagement session at the Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, TX!
Engagement Session at Commodore Perry Estate
Both Morgan and Patrick felt nervous about having their photos taken, so starting with a champagne toast helped them loosen up and calm their nerves! They sat on the balcony and sipped their champagne while we chatted. After drinks, we walked around and explored the beautiful grounds of the Commodore.
Planning your engagement photos at a location that means a lot to you as a couple adds another layer of meaning to your engagement photos. For Morgan and Patrick, the Commodore has been a special location throughout their wedding journey. They did their engagement session here, then Morgan’s bridals, and both parties got ready here on the wedding day. Visiting the estate will bring back memories to Morgan and Patrick from their season of being engaged and getting married!
Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, TX
The Commodore Perry Estate is a historic estate and luxury hotel in central Austin. The estate has 10 acres of beautiful gardens, architecture, and stunning rooms. Taking photos here is a breeze because anywhere you go inside or outside is photo worthy. The Commodore Perry feels like a European escape right in the middle of Austin! Everyone raves about Lutie’s Garden Restaurant on the property and I can’t wait to go back someday to enjoy a dirty martini and try their tasty dishes!
After checking out Morgan and Patrick’s engagement photos, you’ll want to see the blog featuring their wedding at the Austin Country Club! The details will blow your mind in the best way (like their reception dance floor having a ceiling of balloons)!
