Austin Country Club Engagement Session

Rain didn’t stop Chloe and Johannes from having a magical engagement session at the Austin Country Club! My photography team, The KHP Collective, photographed this engagement session and will photograph their wedding at the club this fall!!

My insanely talented associate photographers, Glenna and Aric, met up with Chloe and Johannes at the Austin Country Club for their engagement photos. Whether it’s for a wedding or for engagements, the Austin Country Club is always a beautiful venue. It’s not always possible to take engagement photos at your wedding venue, but my team is always up for the opportunity if it fits your vision.

Shortly after Chloe and Johannes changed into their second outfit, the rain started POURING down! The best thing about these two is that they didn’t let the rain bring down their mood.

As you’ll see from their photos, Chloe and Johannes fully embraced the rain and allowed it to highlight their playful side. Nobody plans to do engagement photos in the rain, but I believe it allowed my team to capture their relationship even better!

Engagement Photo Outfit Tips

Chloe and Johannes planned three different outfits for their engagement session and all three were great! Cowboy hats ended up being a fun prop for their casual outfit look.

For engagement photos, planning at least two outfits is always best! Having a dressier look and then a casual set will give you more variety with your photos. Plus, you never know which outfit you’ll both actually prefer in photos!
